The 3rd annual Driftless Area Ice Fisheree to benefit suicide awareness and prevention is happening tomorrow at the Crooked Oar Bar in Prairie du Chien. Organizer Allie Klein says the idea for the event came about during a discussion with her friends about mental health:

Fishing will start at 6am, with prizes in several different categories. The day will also include a bake sale, scavenger hunt, silent auction, raffles, door prizes, a baked potato bar, and live music. One of the highlights is the memorial wall, honoring those who have been lost to suicide.
