A Clermont, Iowa man walked away uninjured when he hit a train with his grain truck. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened at 20th Street and T Ave just west of Oelwein. 63 year old Todd Scheidel was driving a Farmer’s Union Produce Cooperative grain truck and failed to yield at a Rail Road Crossing. The truck struck a Northern Iowa Railways train. Scheidel was cited for Failure to properly stop a rail road crossing. No injuries were reported.
