A vehicle that was stolen in Grant County was recovered a short time later in Dubuque. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office say the vehicle was reported stolen from Millbranch Lane on Sunday, May 14th. Later that evening the Dubuque Police Department located the stolen vehicle in Dubuque. 58 year old Brad Hochausen of Cassville was found in possession of the stolen vehicle and charged with First Degree Theft, OWI, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Charges for Taking and Operating Vehicle without Owner’s Consent will also be sought against Hochausen in Wisconsin. The vehicle appeared to be undamaged and was ultimately returned to the owner.
