Multiple Traffic Stops Leading to Arrests in Crawford County

On Monday, October 16th, 2023, at approximately 11:53 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after witnessing the operator, Kayla Kuykendall (35) of Viroqua, Wisconsin, hit a parked pickup truck on East Street in the Village of Soldiers Grove.
The Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit (Diego) responded to the stop and altered to the presence of one or more controlled substance in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted, and the following was discovered, methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and marijuana.
Kuykendall was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and operating while revoked.

On Friday, October 20th, 2023, at approximately 4 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit (Diego) conducted a traffic stop in the City of Prairie du Chien. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Ryan Franck (40) of Cresco, Iowa. Franck’s displayed numerous indicators of impairment and was discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine. Franck’s was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Milo’s Towing Service.

On Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, at approximately 11:38 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit (Diego) conducted a traffic stop outside of Soldiers Grove, in the Township of Clayton. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Lisa Wagner (60) of Viola, Wisconsin. K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the vehicle. A search was conducted, and methamphetamine paraphernalia was discovered. Wagner was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on the charge of possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia.
