On Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, law enforcement personnel with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office initiated contact with Shelley Strait (59) at her residence of 12349 East Street in the Village of Soldiers Grove and conducted a search of her residence for narcotics under Wisconsin ACT 79, as Strait’s actively on probation for possession of methamphetamine.
During the search, law enforcement personnel discovered and seized baggies of methamphetamine and numerous items of methamphetamine paraphernalia. Strait was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug trafficking house.
