ON 12/11/23 at 4:24 PM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a vehicle rollover on F Ave south of Golden Rd. An investigation determined that a 16 yr old female was operating a 2004 Chrysler Sebring southbound on F Ave when she lost control. The vehicle entered the west ditch, rolled onto the top and came to a stop upright. The driver was transported to Palmer Hospital by Elgin Ambulance for minor injuries. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Elgin Fire and Ambulance and Torkelson Motors. The vehicle is considered a total loss.
