OWI Arrest after Woman Crashes Car into her House

On April 14th at approximately 2:23 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a two-vehicle crash on Broadway St in the City of Boscobel. It was reported a vehicle crashed into the caller’s 2016 Cadillac that was parked in the driveway of the duplex, by her neighbor. The offending vehicle was a 2013 Land Rover driven by Patricia Smith, age 59 of Boscobel. Smith crashed into the caller’s vehicle, and drove through her own closed garage door and into her living room of the duplex. Smith was arrested for OWI 1st. Smith was transported to Gunderson Boscobel Area Hospital for a legal blood draw. Smith was transported to the Grant County Jail where she was turned over to jail staff. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Boscobel Police Department and Terry’s Tire and Tow of Boscobel. This incident is still under investigation.
