On Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at approximately 12:29 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two vehicle traffic crash on STH 27 near Kendal Lane in the Township of Eastman.
An investigation determined that Megan Mormann (42) of Wauzeka, was traveling northbound, crossed the center line, and sideswiped a southbound vehicle. The involved vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. The involved occupant(s) of both vehicles escaped without injury.
Mormann displayed signs of impairment and she was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant, and she was cited for operating left of center.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Eastman Fire Department, Eastman First Responders, Gundersen Ambulance Service, and Milo’s Towing Service.
