On Saturday, April 13th, 2024, at approximately 4:53 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one-vehicle traffic crash on Bouska Rd. near Fuller Ln. in the Township of Bridgeport.
An investigation determined that Madison Knepper (16) of Prairie du Chien, was negotiating a sharp curve, lost control of her vehicle, and struck an embankment. Knepper and her two passengers sustained injuries and her severely damaged vehicle was towed from the scene. Knepper was issued a citation for failure to maintain control as speed appeared to be a contributing factor.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Bridgeport Fire Department, Bridgeport First Responders, Mar Mac EMS, West Grant EMS, Gundersen Air, and Bob’s Towing & Repair Service.
