On Monday, May 13th, 2024, Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that a traffic stop had been conducted on a vehicle in the City of Prairie du Chien. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Jeremiah Young, 44, of Volga, Iowa.
During the stop, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances within the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Young was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
