The Prairie du Chien Police Department is teaming up with Gundersen Health System and Crawford County Public Health for a special event to raise awareness of the efforts towards prevention, treatment and counseling for drug addiction in our community. Staff from all three entities will be present to give a short presentation and answer any questions. Prairie du Chien Police Chief Kyle Teynor will talk about how his department works to help offenders with treatment, as opposed to just putting them in jail:
The event will be held Tuesday evening (2/28) at the Gundersen Clinic, 610 East Taylor Street in Prairie du Chien from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
