Prairie du Chien – June 22, 2023 – The Crossing Rivers Health Foundation, with the support of donor contributions, has taken the lead to create a permanent display honoring the rich history of Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital, now Crossing Rivers Health. A committee comprised of hospital retirees and community members spent approximately two years researching the organization’s 66-year history and designing a display that summarizes the organization’s milestones and accomplishments.
Sasha Dull, Chief Development Officer, and the Foundation’s Director, said, “So many amazing community members had a hand in the creation and successes of our local community hospital. The stories and the advancements, not only in healthcare, but within this impactful community organization, are immeasurable.” Dull added, “The committee has been so thoughtful and has put in hundreds of hours to make this a lasting project that everyone can enjoy and be proud of.”
An unveiling event will be held at Crossing Rivers Health on Saturday, July 8 from 1-4 p.m., to celebrate the completion of this project. Community members, retirees, and current employees are invited to attend. Welcome remarks and the unveiling will take place at 1:30 p.m., with an open house to follow until 4 p.m. The Partners of Crossing Rivers Health are also hosting an open house in Jerry’s Gift Shoppe in conjunction with the unveiling event.
